Read the book again! Every character had transformed by the end. Calling someone a Pollyanna should be considered a complement. She was actually a total change-agent and that’s what the book was intended to be about.

All of this would hold more credibility if House Dems don’t overwhelmingly vote for his crazy bills, like that military budget, part of which will go towards building his stupid wall. The poor, the oppressed, the marginalized have no allies, just abusers waiting for their turn.
