I wish someone could explain to me why police in other countries de-escalate situations nonviolently in so many instances where police in the U.S. are more likely to shoot to kill. We talk about “better police training” but nothing seems to change...

(I corrected a deleted tweet. Thank you for the advice from so many. One veteran wrote of how police training started changing in the 90s. Please re-post. I know I should’ve left the other one up. Just learning…)

Maybe some of the issue is due to the other party involved. Do those in other countries resist and fight the police as much as they do here? Or do they listen? I'm not saying there shouldn't be police reform but people also need to listen more on scene, and fight it in court

Great article ... every government official should be required to read this ... it allows you to see what's possible!

You mean like Venezuela? It matters when the leader of the resistance is Michael Moore basically. You say nothing.

This is ONE man's history of mugshots prior to his death at 27 years old, when after THREE domestic violence calls in ONE day, he was shot by police after he tried to stab them with a knife. THIS is BLM's latest martyr...

If you tell us where to find you, you'll be able to experience the looting and rioting at your home. We can cheer them on so they can loot everything you've purchased cause of the evil capitalism. You are ignorant!

OMG, you are ridiculous. There IS NO other country like ours! How can they teach us how to police? Bring NZ officers to any urban area, let’s see how it goes. (I know how they operate, it would be BAD)
