There are people in this country more concerned about a Walmart being looted than about an innocent man being killed. Many of them tout the Bible, but “Thou shall not loot” is not in there. “Thou shalt not kill” sure is.

Actually, “Thou shalt not steal” is of course in there. But my point about priorities remains the same.

You must realize that this looting/rioting led directly to AT LEAST one more death (of a 15yr-old) and many more people hospitalized. Can we acknowledge that?

Of course. No one should be defending looting. My point is that it should not get more attention and condemnation than violence toward innocent citizens.

No, no it doesn't at all. Delete the post. It's the only proper thing to do. You are wrong at every level. Killing and stealing are both wrong and you can condemn both simultaneously. A knife wielding man charging police is not innocent. You are inflaming riots. That's evil

False dichotomy. We can we upset about both, but the looting is becoming a way of life. If you actually care about people, you'd think about how little good it does for the family or for police reform to loot and riot. Maybe it's leading to these killings now.

Priorities is realizing the common sense of people being more important than property while also knowing stealing and looting is wrong. Why cant you fit both these thoughts in your head?
