There are people in this country more concerned about a Walmart being looted than about an innocent man being killed. Many of them tout the Bible, but “Thou shall not loot” is not in there. “Thou shalt not kill” sure is.

Actually, “Thou shalt not steal” is of course in there. But my point about priorities remains the same.

I think its a mistake to assume that people who are concerned about riots, looting (stealing), arson, and all the chaotic violence that is harming innocent people are not also very concerned about people being killed by the authorities. Its not an either/or position.

What about the 100’s of people employed by that store? And all the other stores who were looted and damaged? The man who was shot, was threatening the lives of the officers. His family felt threatened too or they wouldn’t have called the cops.
