What Mnuchin, Meadows, Pelosi, and McConnell are doing right now is not the legislative process under our Constitution. Congress—all of Congress—needs to be involved in making legislation. The approach being taken now is slower, less rigorous, more divisive, and unrepresentative.

Dude I hope so. I wish this one aspect of this entire year of suffering was the one nonpartisan issue. People need help, have needed help, will need help. I’m seeing it in rural Tennessee. I can only imagine the impact in other areas of the country. This HAS to happen.

Pelosi and Mnuchin must come to an agreement by Monday or Tuesday if there's any chance the Senate will vote on it before election day. The chances of a deal happening between election day and inauguration are almost zero. This week will determine the fate of millions of people

Pelosi has been stalling this whole time, she won't agree to anything and give Trump a win before election day and it would be naive to think she would.

Even Marianne acknowledges here that Congress is a joke. Seriously, Pelosi has way too much power and needs to be expelled

They agree to slow walk it until after the election, I assume?

She’s delusional if she thinks Trump will sign any deal after election day
