This is political theater on BOTH sides, they should have done a separate stimulus just for checks to the people, FIRST, without any of their other stuff, and they KNOW IT. Think we are all "chumps" as Biden "Captain Malarkey" likes to say.

Pelosi has to get aid to state and local or 10000s of jobs will be lost. GOP trying to starve local. Don't play both sidesism. It's wrong. She's done a great job in this case and she gets mostly shit from progressives. You wouldn't want to have to deal w Meadows & McConnell.
