It’s an odd psychology that makes people resist giving $1000/mo to hard-working citizens to buy what they need, yet be OK with billions/yr given as subsidies to industries already making huge profits destroying the planet so that a tiny group of people can buy whatever they want.

These people have been trained and indoctrinated in ... Trickle Down Economics ... It's all they've ever known ... ever since the Reagan years ... they need to be somehow re-educated into seeing ... that they are the Real Power in this country ... and they deserve more!

Our politicians spend 75% of their time doing obsessive compulsive fund raising, 20% blowing hot air and 5% doing actual work. The all system must be reformed ! So that it can actually serve the people.
