What basis do the police have for removing PPE that people are handing out at a polling site? What are they shutting down next? Lemonade stands?
On the first day of early voting in Red Hook, @NYPD76Pct officers confronted community activists handing out PPE in front of an early polling site & then seized it. This is unacceptable, the NYPD must issue clear guidelines & not escalate situations at the polls.

Why is your first instinct to attack and demonize the police. May want to investigate your attack thoughts, because they are attacking your invulnerability.

Sadly, cops shut down kid’s lemonade stands all the time. Sometimes i do not understand the complete lack of humanity on display in the country. But the love I see all around gives me hope. ✌🏼❤️🙂

I would think that you can’t hand out ANYTHING at a voting site

Why don’t the police just help them move it peacefully together? People helping people!

Not sure but I know there is usually a law about how close you can set up in front of polling site.
There are real crimes to be stopped, this is what your tax dollars are paying for??

Many police officers are basically bullies and control freaks.
