We need a Constitutional amendment establishing public funding for federal campaigns! Money in politics is the cancer that underlies all the other political cancers. I understand the desire to beat Lindsey Graham, but it shouldn’t take $100 million to do it.

If half the country is trying to take my rights away, how much should I be allowed to spend to fight them? This is why Democrats want to limit campaign finance. They want to steal from a minority to buy the votes of a majority, and they want to control the speech of the minority

Some foreign countries disallow political contributions and instead give each candidate a fixed amount of money to use for his or her campaign. Finland is one example. They have a very sane election cycle and for the most part elect very qualified officials.
