We’ve spent trillions of dollars on Covid bailout money but relatively little of it went to actually bailing out the American people. These stories are painful and infuriating and there are tens of millions of more like them. #DirectCashRelief nytimes.com/interactive/2020…

Congress can stop fucking around with massive gimmick bills and quickly and easily pass specific legislation on an individual issue basis. This is an easy solve and it is being weaponized by two political parties to pass other favored agendas.

Send everyone a card like for EBT, load it with money that can be used for food, and paying rent/utilities but will not transact with non-essential services. Reloadable. None of this waiting for a check nonsense.

The majority of Americans vote Democrat, but because of voter suppression, gerrymandering & electoral college, even tho Republicans lost the pop vote they still won the presidency 2x in last 4 elections. Why do some struggling Americans still vote Republican?

I'm lucky ... I'm not in this situation ... Trump and his voters think this all right ... because if we helped them ... their taxes might go up!

We are so tragically uninformed about how our country is really run, where the money really goes, and what can truly be done to improve things. We’re told no, it’s all impossible and become grateful for every drop and crumb we receive.

Here in Canada, even the money that goes to people, mostly just ends up paying mortgages and keeping the bubble inflated. All of this is just one big heist, and the solution is so simple, but it means hurting the banks, so that won't happen.
