For those of you who don't believe in the power of prayer or meditation, this isn't for you so please don't mock. For those of you who do I suggest we all pray fervently as we move towards election day and beyond. Let's surround the election with the light of an unshakable peace.

The power of prayer isn’t to change government but to find peace within yourself and others. To have knowledge in finding good in everyone. To strive towards peace and to subdue evil from all of humanity.

Who do you pray to - a transcendent God? What if God is immanent? Everywhere. Then is it enough to try to learn a spiritual attitude toward life? To try to find out how to live life when God is all there is, the soul in every aspect of an illusory world of constant change?

You should really consider trying a meditation I learned from someone who I thought then was a much better person than they turned out to be: "enfold the Donald in an aura of light. Picture it radiating out of your brother and healing the world and yourself of your hatred."

Prayer should be to the Father in the Name of Jesus God the Son and Meditation should be on the bible and not emptying the mind.
