I told my daughter this morning that if he wins again he'll probably start rounding people up. "You might get a call at some point to come bail out Mommy." We both laughed nervously.

Can I just mention Communists or just Leftists in general? They were persecuted under the Nazis and the Americans. People were literally thrown in jail or blackballed because their political beliefs fairly recently.

My grandmother wouldn’t have filled my mother’s head with such a fear for pure attention. And from 1946-1956 my grandfather WAS locked up and he died in Stalin’s camp. My mother, even if she was afraid, would be wiser than this. Why? Because *she* is a survivor.

As a Jewish-American, I don’t dismiss anti-Semitism. It’s coming from political extremes, including the hard left, which has been increasingly legitimized & covered for by the Democratic Party.
