1/ The 2017 $2 trillion tax cut gave $.83 of every dollar to the richest corporations and individuals. By definition it’s prejudiced against the young because most young people have not created the kind of wealth that enables them to take advantage of those kinds of cuts.

2/ That tax cut needs to be repealed and the middle class tax cut part of it put back in. If Democrats get WH and Congress we need to insist on it. It was part of the massive 40-yr. transfer of wealth into the hands of a few and repeal will help to stop the bleed.

I can't believe someone as smart as you has not figured out what rich people do with the money the government doesn't take from them. Hint - they create jobs. @realDonaldTrump

In the early sixties, the tightest tax rate for someone making over 200,000 was about 76% ... currently the tax rate on someone making over 400,000 is about 35% ... every Republican President has cut taxes ... and it's not only the tax rate, but the tax loopholes!

I completely agree with you, Marianne.

As if the #RepublicanTaxScam wasn't enough to sate the greed of the oligarchs it has just been followed up by the CARES Act, the largest upwards transfer of wealth in human history. Something both Dems & Republicans in Congress are wholey complicit in.

This country needs to actually do something for people who aren’t hedge fund managers but I don’t know if the democrats care enough to actually do the work to make that happen. Our politicians are bought and paid for, that I do know.
