The primary issue I have with Marianne Williamson is not her understanding of economics. It is her personal capital influencing her very ego. We cannot acquire capital without attaching it to ourselves. In this, Marianne cannot fight against the system her attachment depends.

A primary factor that has created & maintained systemic economic injustice over the last 40 years has been a message given to many American women that they shouldn’t weigh in on certain issues because “You just don’t understand economics.”

I can't see it any other way, Marianne. We are all conditioned to play the game, and that little number attached shows our score. People have to play the game to survive, and getting above survival means protecting that number.

The fight we're in now will depend on everyone giving everything to it. And how do you undo the decades of conditioning to detach yourself from the very number that allows you to live comfortable?
