A primary factor that has created & maintained systemic economic injustice over the last 40 years has been a message given to many American women that they shouldn’t weigh in on certain issues because “You just don’t understand economics.”

Intuitive opinions about economics are more often correct than sophisticated amateur ones, in my experience. The amateur economist's domination of the conversation is often a form of oppression that serves to protect established schemes of exploitation, as well.

The wage gap idea comes from a failure to understand the math. Work it out Marianne.

I haven’t heard that message in a long time. And quite frankly many women under 50 have far exceeded their male counterparts as far as business and entrepreneurial endeavors. This argument is old and outdated.Capitalism is for everyone. You just have to go for it!

Economics strips away the humanity and turns us into computational outputs. Economics justified sending jobs overseas leaving a hollowed out city in Milwaukee where jobs are becoming harder and harder to come by, and infrastructure crumbles.

How do you guys keep track of all of your injustices? Does that leave any time left for working?
