If I could send one book to every major corporate CEO and politician in America and know that they’d read it, it would be “Yertle the Turtle.” It’s all there. Those who make it sound more complicated than that are just obfuscating and they know it; don’t let them.

Thank you to Sandy F below for some audio on this book. Point taken. But in the meantime - YOU- and everyone else - needs to read this one. It's easy to get through & also on Audible.

But you are Yertle in this scenario. Demanding the other turtles make you (government) bigger and bigger, more and more powerful. And keeping the turtles under you by force. Not allowed to leave. A free turtle can leave any time. Govt is the only thing controlling free people.

And Suess' en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bartho… is the perfect fable to describe Trump's refusal to take COVID seriously - just like the king in the story is up to his neck in the goopy, smothering Oobleck he ordered his wizards to make, but can't say he is sorry for hurting people with it.
