I’m not anti-capitalist; I think the most enlightened society has aspects of capitalism & socialism. But we’ve drifted into a virulent strain of capitalism, with no ethical or moral responsibility to people or planet. It will correct that, or a generation will storm the Bastille.

Set a universal standard of living, for everyone, globally (slaves making people's Nike's and iPhones) and make sure the planet will survive our existing on it. After that, a little work to get nice things is good.

With respect, I think you're wrong. Capitalism has always been like this. The FDR and then Post-WW2 era was blip (1935-1980), which has been rapidly eroded since Reagan, sped up by computerization, tax shelters & more recently COVID giveaways to companies.
