I’m not anti-capitalist; I think the most enlightened society has aspects of capitalism & socialism. But we’ve drifted into a virulent strain of capitalism, with no ethical or moral responsibility to people or planet. It will correct that, or a generation will storm the Bastille.

As an observer I believe in access to quality healthcare and education for all. This morning my husband ended up in hospital and after a barrage of tests was declared okay. As we have public healthcare, it was free. It is what you all deserve in your country🙂

Capitalism and socialism can both be taken to extremes and they then both fail. Government regulation and taxation can both help keep a strong middle class.

Read up on market socialism. This is an idea that hasn't been researched enough. I'd argue that market socialism is the closest we'll get to perfect competition.

So then why didn't you support Elizabeth Warren? So much more of a "get it done" person than Bernie. I assumed the people who supported Bernie rather than Elizabeth just hated capitalism 100% and didn't think it could be regulated.
