I’m not anti-capitalist; I think the most enlightened society has aspects of capitalism & socialism. But we’ve drifted into a virulent strain of capitalism, with no ethical or moral responsibility to people or planet. It will correct that, or a generation will storm the Bastille.

It steers systemic racism by maintaining staus quo, any storms are weathered by wealth redistribution towards the 'haves' increasing disparity of inequality. Today's pandemic recession is prime example of capitalist system generating protections for whom it was written for/by

The system you describe seems similar to one tried a couple centuries ago, called Laissez-faire, which according to Wikipedia shunned all regulation and led to major excesses of greed.
