I’m not anti-capitalist; I think the most enlightened society has aspects of capitalism & socialism. But we’ve drifted into a virulent strain of capitalism, with no ethical or moral responsibility to people or planet. It will correct that, or a generation will storm the Bastille.

No capitalism makes everyone rich! There has never been an exception.

No wants socialists regimes. We just want an America with a string floor and no ceiling. Right now we have no ceiling, but the floor is made of quicksand. If you’re not equipped to move to the next floor fast enough, you get swallowed.
Plenty of countries will be happy to take you. The day america has a government that’s labeled a “regime” is the day we actually storm the bastille.
If most of the left wants full-blown socialism, they would have not picked Joe Biden. Even Bernie wasn’t socialism. So recent history disproves your assertion.

There are no elements of the accumulation of money and power in the hands of people who have capital that are worth keeping anyone who says otherwise is either confused as to what capitalism is or is trying to hold onto ill gotten gains

End Capitalism it affects the global south and people of color in western countries. You can attempt to understand those facts better, or continue being in denial.

Love ya marianne, i just think a system where some people exploit many people’s labor for capital is doomed to these problems. Capital has no morals or ethics, it just seeks to grow. If people are considered a part of nature, which i think we are, it just consumes nature.

A version that prioritizes people over profit, only leading to more profit for everyone.
