I’m not anti-capitalist; I think the most enlightened society has aspects of capitalism & socialism. But we’ve drifted into a virulent strain of capitalism, with no ethical or moral responsibility to people or planet. It will correct that, or a generation will storm the Bastille.

What can we do to prevent overthrow via violent revolution if every person with power to change things doesn’t acknowledge there’s a problem? We can’t have an honest conversation because of the absolute corruption of our capitalist system.

A lot of people in government acknowledge there’s a problem, but until we get the money out of politics then it will be difficult to get those kinds of politicians the power they need to change it. And an effort at “violent overthrow” will achieve nothing but violent repression.

The economic fortress. Its walls are invisible but just as real.

Just like how feudalism led to capitalism, the next step is socialism and with the technology of tomorrow communism will be possible Capitalism has outlived it's usefulness in some countries. The u.s has enough surplus Capitalism is outdated, unnecesary and harming in all sectors

You cannot have both capitalism and socialism. This is a very confusing tweet and showcases her lack of understanding of those terms. There is no good that comes from capitalism, and the good stuff also exist under socialism just the workers own the means of production.
