When I think of Medicare4All, free tuition & cancellation of college debts, to me it’s not “giving people things” - it’s releasing people from economic shackles that keep them from being able to soar, to be their creative and productive best. THAT’s the key to peace & prosperity.

We're told this idea is radical. We're told high quality medical coverage and education that doesn't crush you with debt creates a "moral hazard." But those things are EXACTLY what the rich get. Particularly, the children of the rich. They get to soar. We get debt & death.

The problem is @marwilliamson it is already a global problem, epitomized in this US sure, but Q, identity nationalist uprising etc is strangulating the entire old West, & beyond...we have a global economy elite & powerless nation states, we have an old idea, set up .../1

I prefer to remember it’s how I would like them to spend my money, the money they took from me in taxes with no interest in my preferences. (This is the Libertarian mindset, but with different priorities.)
