Exceptional Newsweek column by Marianne Williamson ... “Until America looks in the mirror-we will not heal.” Marianne brilliantly casts a a light on the social and economic injustice that is prevalent in America today. A must read!

America's historical cruelty toward its own is astonishing. At every instance we're being punished by the "system." I guess that's the price of "freedom." I wonder if this is what the "founding fathers" had in mind.

Great quote by Krishnamurti ... he's right ... and you've been saying the same thing ... we need to ask why these people are mentally ill ... and homeless ... and working two and three jobs ... We don't ask those questions ... because ... the answers are to painful.

Nice writing ... I like the Krishnamurti quote ... after a while we become numb to what's going on around us ... I guess it's a product of sleep ... since nothing can really happen until we wake up ... and then ... try to stay awake!

Great piece Marianne, and horribly sad and true. The abandonment by our establishment, which will turn countless people out, literally in the cold, is a measure of abject cruelty, by an administration and its supporters. Where they think the money needed is better spent defies /

I know I'm way late but your book A Return to Love made a huge difference in my life. I read it almost 20 yrs ago and it has stuck with me. I've gifted it to others many times. I so appreciate that you remind us we have a soul. Thank you for shining your light on mental health.
