3/ In truth, human beings are hardwired for connection to both tribe & moral sensibility. If you don’t give them a genuine version, they become easy prey for those who are peddling the counterfeit version. Patriotism and public morality are topics that should belong to all of us.

Patriotism and morality are topics that need to be redefined now, in this time. It is patriotic to want the best for your country and your fellow countrymen.... It is NOT patriotic to assume that what is best for you is best for your country/countrymen. (Republicans)......

I agree! I’m a Proud Democrat and Proud American, a working person, wife, sister, neighbor, volunteer, mom to 3—one a US Service-member. I am tired of them co-opting patriotism and family values!
