1/ Of all the things the left surrendered to the right over the last 40 years, patriotism and morality are the two that have hurt us the most.

2/ The right doesn’t walk it’s talk but the left doesn’t talk it walk, too often sneering at issues of the heart with a condescension that has sent millions of people to the other side of the political divide.

3/ In truth, human beings are hardwired for connection to both tribe & moral sensibility. If you don’t give them a genuine version, they become easy prey for those who are peddling the counterfeit version. Patriotism and public morality are topics that should belong to all of us.

The left has not surrendered their morality to the right. We were too silent, too ethical & moral to see & win the dirty competitions. But everyone sees it now. The morality of the right has diminished greatly, by the power DJT holds over them, power over them with what?

Great tweet. This is hurt by their condoning this toppling of statues including Abe Lincoln. That is not a Patriotic act, it is juvenile and Anti-American. This would be a time for the Left to stand with our Country, not with anarchists!

I think you need to watch the Anarchists a bit more carefully. If they were truly peaceful protestors I might agree with your thoughts, but violent destruction, demanding their thoughts be the way is not Patriotic, sorry!
I do not. They can be, but that is not what we have been experiencing the past 6 months. I suspect you should ask the people who experienced $2 billion in damage, the direct harassment of other people, and of course the 30+ dead. That's enough for me.
@MrAndyNgo You might ask Mr. Ngo his opinion on this one. You seem thoughtful, naïve, but thoughtful. Blaming the police is lame and sad. Good luck to you.
