I literally found homeless people living in my shed. The services for the homeless are so underfunded. There’s an emergency shelter for females but only a small one for males with a six month waiting list. And it’s only getting worse.

Wall-to-wall poverty is a necessary stabilizer for authoritarian govts. Their unwillingness to mitigate poverty should be the sign people need, in order to understand that the right is playing for keeps. Both parties are working together to make us poor & take our freedoms.
