Almost 40 million Americans lived in poverty even before the pandemic. 40% of Americans couldn’t afford a $400 unexpected expenditure even before the pandemic. Those people have not gone away, they’ve just fallen into deeper levels of hunger, suffering, despair...and invisibility

Exactly. While lies and corruption dominate via what money can buy, while voter suppression, and horrific actions from #GOPCorruptionOverCountry run rampant... The suffering and death of the American people remains the biggest crime. #RepublicanSenators do not care.

Yet, the Congress, @senatemajldr and others (both parties) are not actively participating in a recovery plan. They should be shouting loud in support of relief. If they cannot find the motivation to something for the unfortunates, they should leave and do something else
