I disagree on this one. I feel like Uber and lyft were always meant to be for supplemental income. If this passes it will be too expensive and there will be more drunk drivers on the road

A ... NO ... vote on Prop22 means that "Ride-share" and "Delivery Drivers" are considered "employees" and should get BENEFITS ... placing YES vote stickers in delivery packages should be illegal!

I doordash as a second job to earn a little extra fun money. I like being an independent contractor. No on 22 would not allow me to set my own hours and work when I want to. I would be forced to quit if they wanted to assign me my hours as an employee.

Yes on 22. Sorry, the state is the one threatening my livelihood. I am a democrat and I prefer being an independent contractor.

People should also be allowed flexibility.

Besides being a bad idea, 22 also changes the rules of lawmaking. Read the fine print.

TILT: Prop 22 contains a provision that would allow in the future only amendments carrying a seven-eighths (87.5%) vote in each chamber of the California Legislature and the governor’s signature.
