Uh, slavery was allowed. Slaves were considered 3/5 of a human being. And women could not vote. Yes, the Constitution DOES change over time!

No we do not need a new Constitution. We need to adhere to the one we have more closely if anything. We do need a constitutional amendment to provide public funding for federal campaign, and we should pass the Equal Rights amendment.

That is the correct approach although neither amendment is necessary. You friends think judges should legislate such things from the bench. They are the same people who claim democracy is under threat. Crazy. #leftylies
