Uh, slavery was allowed. Slaves were considered 3/5 of a human being. And women could not vote. Yes, the Constitution DOES change over time!

Amy Coney Barrett on originalism: "That means that I interpret the Constitution as a law... I understand it to have the meaning that it had at the time people ratified it. That meaning doesn't change over time and it's not up to me to update it or infuse my policy views into it."

I could be wrong but my understanding of the reason for slaves being considered 3/5 was a compromise to reduce number of representatives from the slave states in congress.

Fathers in 2020 are 3/5 of human beings, no one upholds the constitution if it stops their greater agenda. Luckily Ive realized I am not what a slave system says I am and I will never need its validation, the souls energy is much greater than any governments policies
