Uh, slavery was allowed. Slaves were considered 3/5 of a human being. And women could not vote. Yes, the Constitution DOES change over time!

The Constitution can be Amended, but it doesn’t magically “change”. The Constitution was Amended to abolish slavery, it wasn’t done via the Courts it was done via the people, as the founders intended.
