It seems to me it’s both. I think it’s the American people realizing the system seeks to keep them out, but their refusing to acquiesce.

If voting wasn't so powerful then they wouldn't be doing everything in their power to suppress it whilst maintaining illusion there is a free & fair election taking place.

Home of the brave. Preserve the safety net. But why the fuck do we need to be brave just to vote? And why is life so precarious that we need a safety net? How 'bout just home of the contented. How about just having some security in life.
