Abraham Lincoln would have been the first person to tell you the slaves never would been freed without bullets. When he was running for President he was hoping to be able to ban slavery in the territories if Congress cooperated. They were freed by the war not love or ballots.

I certainly understand that. Same with WW2. I never said otherwise.

Nobody prefers bullets. It's just, like, if you were walking by and saw a woman being assaulted by 5 huge dudes, and you see a gun lying on the ground… do you do anything? Or do you tell the woman to vote blue next time there's an election and keep walking?

Ballots aren't going to elect a progressive President. There isn't one running. Nor did love free the slaves. The burning of Atlanta was not an act of love.
