I am physically unable to stand in line for hours to vote. No one is talking about how inaccessible this is to a large swath of Americans.

I suggested the other day that people who have an extra wheelchair should take it with them to their polling place. It’s these kinds of things that are going to happen all over America I think. If we talk about it now then people will become very inventive.

STOP FURTHER BURDENING THE ALREADY OPPRESSED! Bring an extra wheelchair 🦽🦼 ?! You all are psychotic.
What are you talking about?

as expensive as wheelchairs are, you're asking for people to bring an *extra* to the polls? like... you understand that, don't you? we shouldn't have to create mitigation tools when voter suppression (which is what this is) is a failure of the state

Ok so someone in a wheelchair has to also push a second extra wheelchair?

Just one. With the average Black person’s resources. Figure that out and let me know how it works. I don’t need a wheelchair. I need assessable voting. If it’s a good day, no problem, but if it’s a bad one? I gotta be drugged up and in a wheelchair..to vote? Fuck that.
