“This benefit is here to help you.” Ah, to have a government that talks that way or even thinks that way
Update: Applications for the Canada Recovery Benefit are now open. If you’re directly affected by COVID-19 but are self-employed or don’t qualify for Employment Insurance, this benefit is here to help you - it’ll provide you with $500 each week for up to 26 weeks.

While our PM actively pursues so much debt it will take generations to pay off and his family funneled million from their We charity... Looks like both countries have their issues with politics. Justin is bought and paid for.

Wow ... what a great government ... that's what WE need to do ... and I hope we'll be able to do that ... in January of 2021 ... this is a government ... of the People ... by the People ... and for the People ... so lets help the people ... in their time of need!

It’s kinda funny you say that because a lot of Canadians, while happy we’re not getting nothing at least, are also asking for more than that. We honestly need UBI, not just our government to pick and choose who it decides to help.

“But how will we afford it?” cries from Congress while a country with a GDP that is 1/20th of the US can afford to support their people in a pandemic...while providing universal single payer healthcare and mostly free college.
