These people are simply mean. It’s as though human hardship means to nothing to them, especially among those for whom life was already hard.

Some of them are cruel, but others are also devious, and understand that poverty and desperation are the seeds in which the despair they need to govern can grow

If you own a gas station, is it "mean" if you don't let people take gas without paying? If you own a restaurant, is it "mean" if you don't let people eat without paying? Y'know, many landlords are small business owners, not mega-corporations that can be bailed out by govt.

I understand that, in this situation, no extension exists for the landlords to pay their mortgages. The horrific scare of the virus has passed; time to work on getting back to work.

They want to be able to challenge votes because someone who still lives at an address votes at the address but court documents that the landlord intends to evict them might bring their address and thus their vote into question. Attys. are you on top of this?

Their souls are black holes. Karma will come equally. But yes, it is heinous to keep witnessing. Especially their manipulation of their own constituents to think they actually care.
