Long lines of people voting are good news and bad news. On one hand they show the enthusiasm with which people are rising up in this elex. On the other hand, they signal the possibility of voter suppression since lines like this only exist bc polling places have been limited.

Republicans in California are putting up fake ballot drop-boxes. The CA Attorney General says that's punishable by up to 2 years in prison. Check your local election authorities for legitimate drop-box locations.

You're absolutely right. But those people in the back of the line waiting patiently for their turn will make sure that democracy will forever be worth fighting for. They inspire others to get out and vote.

Long lines from voter suppression? Slowing down the ability for voting does not mean more people are voting. It just means more votes will be suppressed. And means you encourage people to stay home safe because it gives the impression excessive voter turn out. Which is not true
