Economic injustice and an overriding sense of purposelessness and meaninglessness created by an insanely consumer-based society and its tendency to make tens of millions of human lives expendable are the underlying causes of most mental health issues in the United States.

Put simply, our humanity has been losing to greed. And we have lost sight of how it can be restored. Lose hope, see only a miserable future and we are bound to suffer severe depression. Time to put people first yet?

The ruling-elites are successfully eliminating small businesses and entrepreneurs. The only companies that will survive Covid are Costco, Walmart and Amazon so soon we will all be cogs in the machine. No worries, big-Pharma is working on new drugs to make it all bearable.
