The undue influence of money on our politics is the cancer underlying all the other cancers. With the current SCOTUS we won’t be able to overturn Citizens United anytime soon, but we need to work towards a Constitutional amendment to establish public funding for federal campaigns

Agree and we must have 12 year term limits with SCOTUS or add three more justices, preferably both. You could maybe could do 16 years. #MedicareForAll

It’s also a cultural problem, and starts at the individual level. Many celebrate excessive consumption in their personal habits. If one has means, spending modestly on housing, transportation, and clothes sends an important signal about the true root of happiness and success
