The undue influence of money on our politics is the cancer underlying all the other cancers. With the current SCOTUS we won’t be able to overturn Citizens United anytime soon, but we need to work towards a Constitutional amendment to establish public funding for federal campaigns

I would highly recommend everyone look up the Council for National Prosperity. CNP. Members include pence, pompeo, bannon, steven miller, devos, prince, etc. Long term goal was essentially control govt by 2020. Extreme right christo-fascists.Heritage Foundation judges are theirs.

For a long time, in all the surveys my number one issue was: Money out of politics. That's the main cause of most of this country's problems. Money buys politicians, then politicians buy puppets, puppets buy other puppets. At the end the country is in shambles.

Right you are, Marianne. Easier said than done, but its the only way to change it into a law that will stand the test of time. If this was done, outside of direct bribery, lobbyists would be powerless to control regulations the way they do now.
