To young African Americans and immigrants: “You can go anywhere you want in this state. You just have to be conservative, not liberal.” I know a lot of people in South Carolina who would take offense to that.

I’m sure that statement offended quite a few white folks too! It certainly did me! But, more than color, it offends Democracy. It offends what America & our constitution stands for. Repubs used to believe Democracy was so important they brought it to the Middle East under W.
