If the word “green” turns off some people, that just says to me we need to say it ten more times. We need to stop running away from what we really mean and simply say what it is that we really want.

Plenty of perfectly fine words and catch phrases have been corrupted by people with bad intentions. I don't know for sure if people are allergic to "green" or not, but it's just a label. What's important is the meat of the contents contained within.
