1/ For years I heard people say things like “I’m not political” & that illusion contributed to what’s happening now. In fact everything is political: the quality of the air you breathe, toxins in food, safety of cars and airplanes, whether or not you have healthcare and fair pay.

2/ Many blame others for perpetrating madness they wouldn’t have been able to perpetrate if more of us had been awake politically. Too many people remaining apolitical enabled the emergence of a “political class.” And how’d did they do? Look around you.

3/ Too many people were distracted, but no more: a political awakening is at hand. We can’t see all the results yet but on the level of cause a political volcano is brewing, a realignment of our hearts with our highest ideals. See beyond the darkness and straight into the light.

4/ It’s not where we are that ultimately matters so much as where we’re going. The waters we’re in right now are turbulent, but on the other side of this there’s a calm and pristine bay of societal potential. Every moment we spend imagining it is a moment we help bring it forth.

Can you imagine our possibilities if we had had a Bernie/Marianne ticket? How about Marianne primarying Kamala for Prez.? Wishful thinking, I know but, oh! The possibilities make me giddy.

I think "I'm not political" for some just means, they aren't willing to discuss it with others. Like religion, people have very strong and sometimes opposing views and some people just don't want to get into a heated debate 🤷🏾‍♀️

People's whose lives are relatively easy don't see why they should be bother in their and shallow lives to care about another human being. That's a sacrifice not everyone is willing to make.

Another 4 years of 45/GOP appointments throughout the bureaucracy - not only the SCOTUS - is a fatal threat. Can’t afford having the remaining good people driven out of positions for being insufficiently “loyal”. Dems raise this! A most imp reason to #Vote #VoteBlueDownBallot
