I don’t understand having a problem with taxing people so rich that there’s no way they would even feel the sting of a wealth tax. A wealth tax wouldn’t make a difference for them in the quality of one day, yet the money could be used to save the lives of millions. #WealthTaxNow

There is no reason billionaires should hold $10,000,000,000,000 in wealth while food lines stretch for miles and millions are on the brink of eviction. Tax the rich.

This issue isn't as simple as it seems at face value. Many countries have tried wealth taxes and repealed them bc of implementation difficulties. This article compares wealth taxes to Andrew Yang's VAT proposal. (VATs are what Scandinavian countries use.) nytimes.com/2019/09/27/busin…
