I don’t understand having a problem with taxing people so rich that there’s no way they would even feel the sting of a wealth tax. A wealth tax wouldn’t make a difference for them in the quality of one day, yet the money could be used to save the lives of millions. #WealthTaxNow
There is no reason billionaires should hold $10,000,000,000,000 in wealth while food lines stretch for miles and millions are on the brink of eviction. Tax the rich.

It’s because it doesn’t end there. The rich will ALWAYS find a way to move the burden of taxes to lower income people. Increasing taxes is a fools errand. Fix the root causes instead of throwing money at it and hoping for the best.

The marginal individual and corporate tax rates need to be returned to those historic levels where all people could realistically expect to have a brighter future for themselves and their children.

They get annual returns anywhere from 6 to 12% on average anyway. Wealth tax as commonly presented is barely a counter to them getting EVEN RICHER
