We talk about how not to be a racist & we should talk about how not to be a misogynist. Among other things it means refusing to be quiet when a woman is gratuitously diminished, when in fact she just said or did something at least as intelligent as what a man just said or did.
Its very diminishing to women to suggest that they cant discuss or debate with a man without being treated as an equal mind. Men frequently do that to each other and saying that women must be treated differently suggests they are weaker.
