Whether or not a man interrupts a woman in conversation is not the bigger point and can distract us from the systemic problem. Misogyny is not just about a comment; it stems from an insidious mental framework that diminishes women. And it’s perpetrated by women as often as by men

From what I can see, the biggest problem with interruptions during the 2020 election debates is that the moderators expect to be heard and heeded and that is not happening. Marianne you are correct; there is systemic disrespect, including mysogyny.

Susan Paige was a DISGRACE to women everywhere!

I hear you Marianne. I sit on many groups. I am often stepping in when a man interrupts. "Excuse me, I do not believe she was finished and I want to hear the rest of her idea/opinion." I find men interrupt way more than women do. As an active listener it annoys me.

Listen ladies, if you want equal right then you have to except equal treatment. If you Kamala can't handle it, she's in the wrong buisness.

It’s commonplace for Black women especially to be ignored. Look at how we’re treated in tech. I left tech because I wasn’t going to be disrespected and ignored a moment longer. I was the most capable person in the room, but as a Black woman I was so mistreated.

Since when is politics polite? A strong person/woman is not a victim of anything or anyone.

But it’s ok if a woman interrupts a man. Both are rude and crass behavior.

Perpetrated by you here! Harris didn't get where she is by being a weakling. She's a strong woman. Making her out to be a victim of bland ass Pence because he debated her as an equal instead of with kid gloves is diminishing to her and all women.

Even after you get your own way, you'll never be happy. Stop with the daily shaming

"insidious mental framework" Quit playing fast and loose with the demonstrably inappropriate moralizing. This is just another "people who disagree are evil" lame ass take being laundered through purposefully confusing rhetoric and ideology.
