This is extremely important. We had had “compassionate exceptions” to our sanctions before, and these new ones will cause tremendous suffering. This is not what we should be doing.

Wrong! The Iranian government can end all sanctions today.. if they renounce their Nuclear Weapons program. The US signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation treaty. This is serious and worthwhile.
