Marianne they anticipate political campaigns trying to influence the outcome of an extended vote count. Unfortunately once a winner is settled on political ads will be allowed again.

Corporations have a funny habit of trying to ally themselves with or even take over grass-roots movements while simultaneously fomenting racism, extremism and culture wars to keep the people distracted and divided. They just can't be trusted.
