the bigger a gov't gets, the more influence and power it wields over the economy, the more it benefits corporations to spend their profits influencing it. The *only* way to take power away from the rich is to take it away from gov't. But, good luck with that.

No I am not naïve. But I know there was a time when people took it more seriously than they do now that it’s supposed to be. 600,000 people died in the Civil War; it’s not like there weren’t some very courageous people trying to make it so. We’re not the first generation to care.
